I swear a lotta y'all didn't actually watch Hunter play while he was here. He was pretty productive (as in I think he may have the single season tackles record for an LSU DL) everywhere but sacks. TFLs, PBUs/ batted balls. And he was durable too, didn't miss games for the 2 years he started. It was mainly how Chavis used his DEs that didn't really get him to the passer much.

Right! Danielle Hunter was used brilliantly by Chavis, who fielded the only defense in America that could stop anyone. Chavis stopped power and he stopped dual threats that befuddled Nick Saban. He did it by playing two-gap technique. Chavis employed strategies that made the LSU defense shine; he wasn’t trying to burnish an individual player’s stats.
