If we keep scoring it puts pressure on their offense and they might make a mistake. We'll never know what the outcome would have been in an alternate scenario.

Only counter I have is that you just never know. Turnovers. Finally get a stop. Missed FG. Something.
But largely, I agree with you. The Ole Miss and Bama games were two of the worst defensive performances I’ve seen in the last two decades as an LSU fan.
