If UGA had won the SECCG and left them, Michigan, Washington, and FSU as 4 undefeated P5 champs then I think most people on here would agree that Texas should've been #5 in the final CFP rankings.

Bama and Texas, Texas and Bama were tied to one another. Committee took the easy (cowardly) way out and excluded FSU per their QB situation.
In truth, UGA has an argument, but none of us has ever seen a P5 undefeated team NOT get in the 4 team playoffs.

Texas should not have been in at FSU's expense.
And since Texas beat Bama, then Bama shouldn't be in over Texas.
It should've been Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas. The only people on this board saying otherwise are Bama fans.

The committee could just have easily done the opposite.

Most people on here agree that FSU should be in above Bama but not Texas. The committee disagrees. Had uga won, Texas would have that fourth spot.

A) Playoffs are only 10 years old
B) We also hadn't seen an SEC champ left out, so we were getting a first either way
C) ACC is a Power Conference in football in name only. Blame the other schools in your conference (the one y'all tried to leave earlier this year)
D) FSU wouldn't have deserved to get in even with a healthy QB.
E) Blame your conference for helping delay the 12 team playoff.

So pick your poison bro. How do you make everyone happy when you have more BEST teams than slots to fill them?
You go to a 12-team playoff. If you want the reason why that didn't happen this season let me know.
