So my mom recently passed away and I am struggling to find a good gift to get my pop. I want it to be special. Any ideas are welcome.

Time together.
Be there.
Could be an activity you both like, but mostly just being together in the moment.

Could take a trip together. Could go out and get lunch together. Work on a project together. Hike together. Play a game together.

Gifts:
A good strong shoe horn so he won't have to bend over as far in the morning.

A good flashlight for beside his bedstead.

Is there a wedding picture of the two of them that could be worked on and made fresher or sharper?

My Godfather's favorite Christmas present was a studio portrait of his big ole' doberman named Danger.

If you or your wife are good with a needle thread and a sewing machine, a day of repairs to clothes and linens is a way to spend time together. (Been there done that)
