Bama struggled against a ton of teams even with their starting QB. They get a pass for it but FSU doesn’t?

The difference here is that Bama beat the number 1 team in the country in the final game and won the hardest league in the country.

Look I am not happy Bama is in the playoffs but the idea that they should let FSU in despite seeing 2 weeks in a row that they aren't very good is ridiculous. Most years FSU gets in by default. This year there were 7 undefeated or one loss teams that had a good argument. You don't leave out teams that can actually compete for a championship in favor of one that clearly can't.

FSU beat a rival by 2 scores with a backup.

Bama beat a rival by 3 points needing a muffed punt and 4th and 31 conversion to win.

Which team has shown for 2 weeks they aren’t very good?

careful - logic and facts don't go over well on this board.

Georgia got the benefit of the eye test and last year’s championship. Their schedule was not difficult at all so was Georgia really deserving of the #1 rank?
