Considering taking 3/4 days to fly up and see them play on a Saturday night in February or March. Never been to Montreal or Canada. Any tips for other things to do while there and best option for flights would be appreciated.

Rent a bike and cruise around old Montreal

I’d recommend Le Centre Sheraton. It’s a block away from the Bell Centre where the Canadiens play. Depending on weather you can hike up Mount Royal for great views. The Museum of Archaeology & History is interesting. Makes connections to the establishment of Louisiana. Stroll through Old Montreal, go to Notre Dame Cathedral.

Have you checked ticket prices or are you ok with sitting in the upper deck?
I wanted to go see the Canes play there on Saturday 3/30 but the seats where I have my season tickets in Raleigh are over $350 each, tabernak!

Near the hockey arena there’s a Les Enfants Terribles downtown that has as good of a view as you’ll find. The food is decent and a little pricey but it’s a really cool Rooftop bar. Next door there is a Keg steakhouse location which is kinda like the Canadian Ruth Chris the dollar is so strong you can stuff yourself for nothing. I had a few martinis, cocktail shrimp, fries and a NY strip for around $100. It’s not the best meal in the city but it was quality and well cooked and the price is like nothing you’ll get in the states.
Chez Parée is the best strip club in that area.
