Damn

This is such a ridiculous sport we follow

I mean a kid tweeted “I wish I had broken my leg sooner” and he actually had a point, like what in the frick are we doing

College football is in my blood, but it is indefensible as a product

A teams entire season results didn’t matter because of an injury. That’s truly wild to me

How does Clemson count with Lawrence?

He was the backup QB to start the season

And FSUs backup was knocked out of the game due to concussion protocol after a targeting penalty.

The NCAA literally kicked a player out for this hit that concussed him, forced him to sit for his teams championship game…and then penalized his team for him not “winning good enough” without him

This is sports, I guess.

And describing Lawrence as the backup is some Reed Richards level stretching.

My favorite arguments so far are

“Look how bad they played against Louisville”

“Don’t want a repeat of TCU from last year”

“Liberty went 13-0 should they get in?”

He was not the starter for the first four games of the season. I guess I should ask the commiteee what the break off is for it to matter

shite, when you put it like that it’s even more brutal. I’d walk into traffic if I were an FSU fan

It’s really simple.

FSU is not one of the best 4 teams. Period.

They’d be the underdog vs all 4 teams that made it.

I don’t understand why people can’t grasp this.

You really counting Trevor Lawrence and Stetson Bennett as "backup QBs' now.

Who gives a shite about this metric? Alabama would be favored over Washington even if they lost yesterday. Would they still deserve to be in?

And UGA would be favorites over all 4 teams in

So it is or isn’t based on spreads?
