It just seems coordinated to me. Every barstool person is parroting the company line every time Dave tweets something about it. I agree that getting panties in a wad for 10 bucks is stupid but it's the internet

A lot of it is subscription fatigue. The consumer is being asked to subscribe to 100 different things, 5.99 here, 9.99 there. People are just over it.

This isn't evidence of shite. Thats how barstool always operates when someone or some company comes after one their own.

I just don't think they did it on purpose. there is no real gain because the majority of viewers aren't gonna pay the $10 and like it is in this thread, its done a ton of harm to do it this way.

They also have a history of game shows on Youtube and have never pulled anything like this in the past. I think Youtube really did flag their show for the bomb threat and Barstools big mistake is not just releasing teh remainder of episodes on X OR just editing that scene out of a previous episode and moving forward on Youtube.

I haven't decided if its worth $10 for me yet but I definitely don't think Barstool planned this on purpose.
