I was in attending a meeting at church the night of the Beatles on Sullivan. Fortunately, I was able to split early and made it home in time for the performance. Mind blowing and life- changing. No group had ever written and performed like the Beatles. Four years later in 1968, I sat in the front row for Jimi Hendrix in Shreveport. Also mind blowing.
