I am cooking chili today....
used 2 lbs of deer meat, 1 lb of 80/20 beef, 1 lb of deer sausage.....
i was cutting, chopping, etc...not paying attention - recipie called for 8 cloves of garlic (with 2 lbs total of meat)....i used 7 heads (28 cloves w/ 4 lbs)....
have i ruined this pot of chili? i know it wouldnt have ruined a gumbo or jambalaya...but chili?
added an extra can of beef broth to the recipie.....i love this chili...but worried too much garlic will be a problem...will it?
2 hour total cook time.....garlic went in first

Pretend it's North Louisiana Sicilian chili.

You don't have to worry about any blood-sucking vampires.

Not sure about him, but if I ate that much garlic, I WOULD sweat it. Probably for the next couple of days. I love the stuff, but I dare not eat Albasha or Atcha for lunch if I am going out that night. I exude the smell for at least 24 hours if I load up on it, and no amount of showering will fix it...
