Burned alive

Apparently this isn't that bad because the nerves burn off around the same time you begin to feel it. I still don't want to test it though...

I read that the Japanese (or Vietnamese) would tie prisoners to the ground so that bamboo shoots would grow up and through their bodies. Bamboo grows very quickly so the prisoners would still be alive. Myth busters, or some such show, proved it true with ballistic gel.

Got third degree burns on peft hand.

You have about a minute where you think youre okay.

And then it hurts.

Ive had third degree burns, compression fractures, stabbed, broken collar bone, torn bicep, torn pec, cut fingertips off with a meat cleaver as a kid, drilled into index finger, and caught a ricochet to the chest as a kid.

My 10 is a torn pec. My nine is a 3rd degree burnt hand. Eight... Carolina reaper pepper in my lower intestine. Six... Sleeping foot. Five... Stabbed. Then everything else.

More painful? A slow meaningless life.
