He isn't taking the DC job if offered at LSU under BK. Plus Kelly is now ready to fire House after just 2 years. Why would Baker go there to be in same situation? He isn't going to risk losing his job if he had one that House is going through after a below average season like some other DCs are going through right now. That is why Baker will stay at Mizzou and is making the right choice to stay and he will get a pay raise after the season.
This is just wishcasting word salad on your part. Again, coaches aren’t pussies like you seem to be. The entire industry is built on guys betting on themselves if they feel a move benefits them.
While you seem to believe job security will keep him there, the best time for a coordinator or position coach to make a move up is when their stock is high. No one but Mizzou fans believe you guys will be able to duplicate this level of success often, especially with the conference expanding. If Baker is looking to cash out and move up, it’s the perfect time. He won’t be a head coaching candidate for years as a DC at Mizzou. He will have to move up the ladder and continue to succeed for that to happen sooner.
Such an offer may be more likely to come from a school other than LSU, but I am betting he listens.

Like Kelly with House? Yep! But Mizzou we have a good fit and another year since quarterback will be back and so will other key players. There are others that their time is up due to graduation and/or scholarships are used up. Still have plenty of guys will be back and others are waiting to take their turn and we aren't going to be bad next year. Next year should be even better. That is why I am saying why would the OC and the DC leave for job elsewhere while Mizzou is building something special. and will have a good chance to make the playoff next year.
