It would have been really unusual for anyone in my social circle at age 21 to have much interaction at all with a 16-year-old. I know some people draw this distinction between "Romeo and Juliet" law scenarios and the middle-aged guys you see on Dateline NBC, but any 21-year-old who's messing with high school girls is a huge creep in my book. It's not just something that happens naturally or innocently.
