B) not breaking the law

Next question. Under same premise, is Giddey engaging in:
A) pedophilia
B) not engaging in pedophilia

It’s pretty simple. If she’s below the age of consent then he absolutely broke the law. If she’s beyond puberty then he is absolutely not engaging in pedophilia.

What is a completely different argument is whether or not something being against the law specifically makes it wrong and does this alleged incident not qualifying as pedophilia make it okay.
