I've never watched a WNBA game, but is she actually the kind of player who can be really good in that league? To me, she just looks like a big ole girl who isn't very athletic, just big and occupies space under the basket.

Reese is an excellent player but her offensive skillsets are very limited and that won't translate well to the pro's without a midrange game or better post move skills. You can't be one dimensional at the pro level, she would face players as big and as strong as her and you have to have versatility. Her performance with team USA this summer showcased how badly she needed that midrange shot, she struggled pretty badly vs bigger players.

She really needs the 5th year and truly working the entire summer on expanding her game if she truly wants to make it. I'm sure she will still get drafted and taken for her following alone but she wouldn't play much IMO.

She’s very athletic. She just doesn’t have a great midrange or outside shot. And honestly she shoots from shoulder height which negates some of her height. But she is very agile, it’s how she gets her rebounds.
