I’m not familiar with his work but have heard that crowd work was his thing.
We were at a cabin this weekend and watched it. Decent not great, but he did close with “but what do I know, I just do crowd work.”
So I guess that was a zinger or something.

The first 50 times it was, but everyone is doing it now, & played out. Would he make it if he had to rely solely on his own material/jokes?
It's either the dumbing down of comedy, or ingenious. Have no material, interact with the audience & get some.
