I got the vaccine back in 2021. I actually saw the data and who covid affected and felt I was close enough that I could use the it. Does that make me a bad person? I never talked down to either side. Maybe you should look in the mirror and come a realization you may not be a nice person. Just food for thought.

I don't have to be nice to anyone. If you don't like my posts, ignore them. I think anyone who avoids vaccines is a fool who is endangering public health.

Did. Still got Covid. Quite obviously the shot didn't work. So... sure ain't getting another, especially with all of the verifiable negative consequences from doing to. But if you want to, I couldn't care less. Or don't want to... again, couldn't care less.

Oh, the vaccines work -- but no vaccine is 100% effective. It's a measure of protection. Keeps you out of the hospital. It doesn't make you invincible and it doesn't make the virus disappear if you get near it.
A lot of people make the mistake of thinking of vaccines in black and white terms, like it either works 100% or not at all -- but that's not how they work. They work within a population. The more people vaccinated, the better they work for the whole population. But you can't tell vax refusers that because they've created this thing about "it either works or it doesn't;" but that's not how vaccines really work within a population.

Well, I've personally never gotten Polio, Diptheria, Tetanus, or Pertussis. Nor do I know anyone who has nor does anyone I know know anyone who has. We were vaccinated against those.
I've gotten the flu shot... and gotten the flu. I know numerous people who've gotten the Covid shot and still gotten Covid.
See... the former ones are true vaccines. The latter two are shots... but since they redefined what a vaccine was, you can now call them vaccines.

Yes, but 99% of the population is vaxed against those diseases you mentioned. Only 75% for Covid. Covid won't go away until 99% of the population is vaccinated and with a little time. It took ten years from the time the polio vaccine hit until it was pretty much wiped out. But it's starting to reappear because of antivaxer parents not vaccinating their children. There was a polio outbreak in NY I think a few years ago.
