You have to watch ads. They do this every year.

I pay for the no ads plan but I'm going to talk to the wife about downgrading.

Are we 100% sure this will work with the Disney+ merger?

I don't see why it wouldn't. It's not a forced bundle, they're going to merge the apps/content like Max did.

Also, big companies typically look at these kind of deals as marketing costs. They see it as paying $84 to acquire a customer, not "these customers owe us $7 a month, so when we raise our prices we'll change the terms and soak them."

I feel like paying for no ads after starting a rewatch of 24 last night. They ran at least two ads, sometimes three, every 10 minutes. It was worse than watching a regular TV station with ads. I watched both Fargo episodes on FX afterwards. The commercials on FX didn't seem as intrusive.
