Why do you think Les Miles didn't go off on him on the sidelines?

He was chewing his arse out. You don't have to undress people to get your point across.

I rather Miles technique than seeing Nick Saban constantly acting like a blithering idiot on the sidelines.

Ever heard of the law of diminishing returns?

Here comes the obligatory "Saban would've kicked him in the nuts and then gave him a wedgie before making him walk back to BR in his jockstrap" post

Because, for better or for worse, that's not how he typically handles himself.

Are you kidding? Saban would've kicked him in the nuts and then gave him a wedgie before making him walk back to BR in his jockstrap.

Pay more attention. He was yelling before he ever touched him.

as dumb as the foul was and as much as i wish he wouldnt have committed it, i understand...if someone was trying to gauge my eye id probably be just as angry. i like the way miles handled it, no matter what he was actually telling him.

Alem on the other hand...bonehead mistake.

No, he wasn't. Obviously you didn't watch the game. He gave him a hug, and sent him right back out there!! That is not what you do when you are upset. You explode to let your fans know that you actually care if we win or lose.

Shut up douche. Miles was laying into him the whole time, even as he put is arm around him. It's the way daddy's yell at their kid, well, good daddy's that is.

Come on man, I love most of your post here, but it's call Tiger RANT! Not Tiger "Very well educated people expressing their very well investigated opinion in a orderly manner".

One little post ain't gonna hurt anyone.

I remember Lou leading a Notre Dame player off the field by his face mask once. What an embarassing moment.

I don't always agree with how Miles handles discipline like that but what you have to understand is some of these guys are 18 yr old kids and just now entering adulthood. Chewing their asses out isn't always the best solution, although in that situation, he should of at least put his arse on the bench for the rest of the game.

It was not a hug. Les wanted to choke slam him but changed his mind at the last second. The figure 4 would have taken too long.
