Blitz the absolute frick out of everyone because you're not gonna stop them in man or zone coverage anyway.

In obvious passing down have to bring more than 4. More often than not 3-4 will not beat 5-6.

Used Perkins better, disguised blitz better, less of Mason more Jefferson, less Speights more Weeks… Essentially the opposite of everything House did this year.

I would have Perkins in the same role as last season. We would've started the season in a 4-3 and NEVER tried that 3-4. Since we've thoroughly proved we can RARELY get pressure with our front 4, I'd definitely have some calls where sometimes a corner or even safety comes with pressure. I'd definitely have more LB blitz packages. I would simplify it for the d-line and THOROUGHLY explain exactly what gap they are supposed to man AND teach me DE's not to rush past the QB. Man, there's just so much that this D is bad at, it's more than just a talent issue. These kids haven't been coached properly. This post could be 100 pages easily.

I don’t know if it is the scheme or the players, but we don’t seem to be going in the right direction with recruiting either and that’s also on coaching. So anyway you cut it, we’ve got to make some big staffing changes on that side of the ball.

Played the freshman because not playing them didn't work.

Press coverage some of the time with blitz. Our LB's played in no mans zone most of the year. Get Perkins out of one position and let him roam/spy but different on every play...so teams cannot scheme plays away from his 'position', which is what happened most of the year. His talent couldn't have been more wasted. Play Weeks with Perkins and let them both play that roamer/spy position but not lining up the same on every play.
Our problems on D start with the offense seeing the same formation EVERY PLAY. Do Olinemen have to think and maybe make mistakes in their blocking assignments due to different looks from LSU...hell no! Our D coaches have zero imagination and they just phone it in every game every play. the best D LSU played all year was when Fla, who completed passes all over the field most of the game, had 1st down on LSU 5 yd line, and threw 4 passes incomplete...why because LSU blitzed the heck out of their QB and overwhelmed him and the plays didn't work. Why then and not during the game? It works but House never calls it. Infuriating!

I made one suggestion already but in hindsight I think I would study what the hell Saban and Smart are doing and figure out why I cant do those things because they are pretty damn successful with it.
