I pray you can get through this and get some help.
My brother-in-law took his own like last month. PTSD from the Army and was a police officer. Left behind a wife and 11yo son. It’s horrific what are family has been through.
Please look into Ketamine assisted therapy. I don’t think MDMA Therapy is available yet but will be a game changer when it is because it will usually cure most PTSD in one treatment for a number of years. Just have to stay on top of it. Hope he cans get some help.

Yes, there are legal clinics in almost every city. This is a decent place to dip a toe into psychedelic-assisted therapy.

It's not terribly hard to find an underground practitioner of merit for MDMA-assisted therapy.

Not sure I agree on the "one treatment" claim you make (it happens sometimes), but the treatment itself is remarkably effective.
