VA is still worth another shot here

IMO, the issue with the VA is getting through the front end process. The red tape can be very confusing and VA employees sometimes have surely, disinterested, disengaged, dismissive attitudes. They are unionized so there is no accountability and no incentive from them to do better. I personally haven't fooled much with the VA, but this what I hear from others.

I pray you can get through this and get some help.
My brother-in-law took his own like last month. PTSD from the Army and was a police officer. Left behind a wife and 11yo son. It’s horrific what are family has been through.
Please look into Ketamine assisted therapy. I don’t think MDMA Therapy is available yet but will be a game changer when it is because it will usually cure most PTSD in one treatment for a number of years. Just have to stay on top of it. Hope he cans get some help.
