The SEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Alabama, why would it move to Mississippi?

Pensacola. There's a large parcel of vacant land downtown! Centrally located and attractive to visit.

so why'd they let LSU win the SEC Championship in 2019 and UGA in 2022?

Seems like these nefarious SEC cheaters need to get better at their jobs.

I think it should be mobile, like those school bus blood donation centers. Just park the convoy in a different city every year.

Mogadishu would also be a good option if Jackson doesnt work out.

With the money involved in college ball now first thing that needs to happen——. Get rid of conference affiliated officials. Should be a regional assignment to games not aligned with any conference.

Have you seen the jokers who run that city? They allowed the water system to fail. Look then up then ask yourself if you would want to live there?

I disagree. From 5 different angles that I saw (there were over 17 camera angles provided to the replay official), upon the first contact, Jayden's head did not snap back. His head did snap back seconds (or milleseconds after contact), but not at the moment of contact. The was the key to the ruling.

The video link below is CBS broadcast video that has two views of the play and it clearly shows first impact to JD was on the chin as evidenced by the first part of his body to move as a result of the impact was his head snap backwards. If he was hit in the chest his head would have moved forward. The second angle clearly shows that DT's feet did come off the ground in a launch and his helmet which was lower than JD's at point of impact rose through to a point higher than JD's.

I have not even been pushing the launch stuff. DT hit JD in the chin on first hit. Another point and I am not sure how it figures into targeting rule but DT clinched JD all the way to the ground and drove his helmet into JD's facemask as they hit the ground.

My other disagreement with your explanation was that DT's initial contact to the chest was "milliseconds" before the hit to the chin. That is inconsequential to the effect of the play. If I take a swing at a person and hit them square on the jaw and knock them out what is the difference if I take the same swing and glance it off a shoulder and hit them and still knock them out. The millisecond explanation does not hold water.

Tip on viewing the video, dont just run it through and watch it. Take the cursor down on the timeline and stop it and move through the impact at slow speed backwards and forwards over and over and you will finally see what I am telling you.

Have always thought Nashville might be a good choice. Vandy is there but I’m not worried about a Vandy bias. Birmingham is the worst possible location and it should’ve been moved a long time ago. Now with adding schools, it’s time for some reasonable changes such as this and rotating the Championship game around. There are lots of great options for that as well.

the fricking bias on this board is intolerable, you mouth-breathings shills REFUSE to admit that the only logically, morally, ethically, and financially justifiable location for sec headquarters is kaplan, louisiana.

You went from this…

quote:

None of the replay referees have ties to any of the SEC schools. This was instituted approximately 5 years ago by Mike Slive. I know this, because one of my friends is one of the 4 replay offcials (he has been for about 5 years), he is from Texas and has no ties to any SEC school. He was also responsible for the LSU vs Bama game this year and in 2019 (remember, the catch by Thaddeus Moss vs Bama in 2019? My friend made that call).

…to this, and now you just expect us to believe that this information you provided at this exact moment in time is entirely factual? Why now? Because you’re also guilty of perpetuating myths without facts.
