But they didn’t replace anything, sms and mms was always there.
The iOS Messages app sends an iMessage rather than a text message in a way that's transparent to the user, correct? So not only did they replace the universal sms system, but they did it in a way that is almost deceitful.

With how many ways there are too digital message someone, there isn’t a monopoly here
You don't have to be a "monopoly" to engage in anti-competitive and anti-consumer behavior. All of those other messaging systems required explicit user action. Apple took what was an extremely well-established userbase of a universal messaging system and moved them over to their system, "seamlessly".

No, it's recognizing that while capitalism and free markets are obviously preferable over all other systems, the aim or end result of this system in its purest form is not always precisely in line with the needs of the people. It should not be a goal of ours to preserve the purity of free markets. We don't exist to maintain the system, the system exists to maintain us.

The US has antitrust laws too, and for good reason.

Nope, blue bubble vs green bubble.

And this doesn’t come close to violating them in the slightest.

RCS coming to iPhone doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it’s just funny how many people are like free market bad in this situation.
