I think a lot of these guys either have a regional bias or just vote for who is in the lead so they can say they voted for the winner. There isn't a statistic in the game right now that doesn't point to JD as the true Heisman. Totally objective.

Big Ten does not have a Heisman QB this year. I think BT voters will split between Penix and Daniels with a lean toward Daniels. West Coast will go for Penix but Williams may pull enough votes to the benefit of Daniels.

I mean Marvin Harrison Jr pretty much proves that. Great year for a great receiver but as a college player he isn't putting up legendary numbers that would warrant him being in the discussion at all.
