I listen to just about every Theo Vonn podcast. I think he is hilarious and I listened to this on Tuesday when it came out.
There are too many potential sponsors out there to let one dictate what you do. Especially one that is a brand of a workout machine. Like every other workout machine, if it becomes trendy, it will reach its peak and then there will be something else people move on to.
I understand there is a subscription involved so a sale is more than what they make from that direct sale because of the subscription that people pay for, but its something no one needs. When people have to tighten their budget that is one of the first things to go or one of the items will stop buying.
And how many people who listens to a podcast, doesn't like the guest and says "I hate that guy, let me keep track of all the sponsors for this one episode because I will make sure not to buy anything from them"?
I used to always see a Peloton commercial, but I don't remember seeing one in awhile. So they can't afford to get any type of bad press..
