There is no need to have every single race/disability/whatever represented in product offerings.

While I think the Santa in a wheelchair is a little silly, I wouldn't say every race or disability doesn't have to be represented.

As a kid, when you don't see others like you then you just assume you can't do it.

I grew up in a wheelchair my entire life. I was never around other people in wheelchairs. Ever. I grew up as "normal" as one could being in a wheelchair. There were things that I thought I was able to do because everyone else around me did it, but then as I got older and was able to understand that I couldn't do everything that all my friends were doing, I didn't see anything I was able to do.

When I was in HS I remember my dad telling me "you are going to have to find something to do that involves working with computers" and I actually hated computers. I always preferred to be outside, being around others and the idea of being in front of a computer doing work, when I was in HS was something I couldn't imagine doing.

But at the time I didn't understand or know the possibilities. The more I learned how to do on a computer, the more I accepted them and so on, but my point is, I do think its important to have every race or disability represented as long as its in a practical way.

Like I said, Santa in a wheelchair is funny to me, There are a lot of jokes that come to mind. The problem is that to have products to represent different groups of people, its probably best to have someone from each group to decide what are the best items to include what people in and not to include what people in.

Nonsense. Kids don't see whit like that without jaded adults telling them to.
