this was exactly my first thought. Usually with shite like this it's so a kid can see themselves in a toy. Like a girl in a wheelchair may want a Barbie that's in a wheelchair too, I GET IT. No problem.

But santa is fricking magical and there is no way he can do a fraction of what the entire world knows that he does if he's disabled. It's just a slap in the fact to all common sense.

So he can fly around the world in a chair and shrink to get through a chimney and pull an infinite number of toys from a magical bag but he can't do any of those things while sitting down?

If anything, it now makes sense that he's fat and he's always sitting in a big arse chair in the mall all day long. The chair is the magical apparatus that makes it all possible.

Maybe he just wanted wheels on his chair so he could wheelchair race the elves

We already knew Santa was lazy (he is fat), so it only makes sense he'd rather ride around in a chair like all the other fatties at Disney world than walk.
