As a customer I received this email today. I don't know what image they are referring to. Anyone have any insight?

We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to address a recent email we sent, which, due to a serious oversight on our part, included an inappropriate and deeply disrespectful image that does not align with our values or intentions.

First and foremost, we want to offer our deepest apologies for any offense or discomfort this may have caused. It's important to stress that the image of soldiers used in our email was not just inappropriate, but fundamentally wrong and contradictory to everything we stand for. This was a grave design mistake, and we take full responsibility for not scrutinizing the details thoroughly.

Please understand that this was an unintended error and in no way a reflection of our beliefs or intentions. The image used was a complete misrepresentation and a stark deviation from our unwavering support of American values and the brave men and women who serve our country. We are taking immediate and stringent steps to ensure such a significant oversight does not happen again, including a thorough overhaul of our design and approval processes.

We value your trust and understanding immensely and are fully committed to regaining your confidence. Should you have any concerns or suggestions on how we can better serve our community, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Sincerely,
John Santos

This seems like the opposite effect one would be looking for in a cup of coffee

First, "blackout coffee" has to be top 10 worst coffee company names - maybe why no one here has ever heard of them and everyone is confusing them with some other company

Second, it appears to me they are releasing whatever the fck news they are releasing so they can have the value of a controversy, a controversy intended to make up for that terrible name

Somebody might buy some of their coffee someday

Never ever apologize!

Go check out STOCKING MILL COFFEE. You will love the coffee but if you follow his social media you will love it as much.

Today:

Stocking Mill Coffee
@smcroasters
Saw a thing on the local news about wearing camo to celebrate Veterans Day.

Better way to celebrate…

Support the freedoms Veterans fought for…

…it’s really that simple.

If you go to their website it has a question listed. It says “click here if you voted for Joe Biden” and it refers you to “eat a bag of dicks dot com”.

Been buying from them close to 3 years and he has never wavered on being 2A and against all the BS going on. Never had a bad batch of coffee (he makes all orders fresh, nothing is stocked). Helps vets and gives 100% of all fundraisers to them. But he actually goes out and does it himself, buys meals to cater in and sponsors airplane jumps for wounded vets. Buys special chair lifts for those who lost limbs so they can go jump. This guy walks the walk!

Go check it out but the coffee is great too. He had a store in VA and spent a yesr rehabing an old McDonalds in Daytona Beach. Had an option to buy a bigger roaster to do larger batches but chose to buy 2 smaller roasters (same size as VA stioe) to keep his quality. It cost him more to do that. Not wanting to grow big he just loves America and helping vets and making great coffee.
