Am I the only one or is the lack of crude language taking anyone else out of the show?

It’s a military show and I’m expecting every other word to be “mother fricker” and “cock sucker”, but there is hardly any cursing.

When the guy’s puke splashes on the pilot in the first episode and he goes “gosh darnit!”, took me completely out of the show.

I think they might have cussed less than you think. I know Dick Winters took them to task over the original script of Band of Brothers because he said they didn’t talk like that. He said when you live that close to death a lot of guys play it pretty straight. I’m not saying it was all golly gee in WWII but I’m not sure it was a Dave Chapelle routine either.
