I have had 247 forever but thinking about making the switch. Recruiting gurus, what say you?

They’re all awful lmao

On3 should duplicate 247’s layout. On3 has better material though. They’re all unreliable and full of shite.

The model is dead but it’ll limp on for another decade

They’re all out to make money, I read em all and On3 has the Bengal Tiger which gives excellent coverage of LSU. I go with the one that has LSU commits and recruits ranked higher. It’s crazy sometimes how differently ranked the players are between sites.
A lot of times players are ranked higher if said player gives their site more access. But still remember these sites All of them are ranked and evaluated by journalists, not coaches or scouts. It’s all opinions and “Experts” are people on the payroll.

Mike Scarborough and Dandy Don are the best. All the national recruiting sites still underrated the prospects. A 3star Mississippi or Louisiana kid is a 4star borderline 5 star in other states. They don't come down here and really do the work!

Follow the owner/founder. He's currently still involved with On3. He and his team are the visionaries of the industry thus far seeing as they've founded all 3 major sites(not ESPN obviously). 247 and Rivals have bosses at CBS and Yahoo to answer to in terms of narratives. That's an automatic detraction for me. But, as posted, they are all severely flawed and use "journalists" as scouting experts. Just pick your favorite and you'll be fine.
