Trump exists as a political figure BECAUSE the party was a mess.

The Tea party movement was the first sign at an unhappiness with Republican leadership. The GOP didn’t listen. It made promises to that movement, but governed differently. And then it abused its power with Bush/Cheney and the MIC. The lack of consideration for the will of the voters was so great, that even after the debacle that led to Obama years, the GOP decided to promote another fricking Bush in 2016.

I guess you were asleep when all of that went down. Trump ran against the GOP establishment. And the GOPe is so unpopular among the voters, he won.

Since then, the party has fought against the will of the people consistently.

The Republican Party is dead. The ONLY thing going for it is Trump.

You either rebuild the Republican Party or it’s done. Those are the options.
