Honestly, the post the UCONN guys made on this board a few years ago inspired me to write my own.

For whoever asked we are all in our mid 30's

We will mostly be in SDSU gear then with the bachelor in an LSU jersey. Keep an eye out for us and hopefully we run into some of y'all out there.

I truly appreciate all the helpful answers and tips. If there is anything obvious i've missed or if you have anything else to add please do.

Great call. Speaking as someone who didn't grow up in Louisiana, I know it might sound weird to wear SDSU gear on gameday, but that really is the best way to get peoples' attention. Find a tailgate, tell them what you told us, and you'll be set.

Then I’d stay away from Tigerland. It’s just a bunch of underage to 21 year olds. It stops being fun real quick once you graduate. Chimes is a good time and fairly good food Friday night. And it’s near campus so you’ll start to get a sense of things. Happy’s downtown is usually a decent time if you’re trying to go out but don’t want to be surrounded by 17 year olds. Not really sure what you guys are going for or how crazy y’all are trying to get for your boy’s bachelor trip.

But all the advice for the tailgates is correct. Just stop and say hi and tell them you’re out of towners. For most of us it’s a point of pride to show people a good time.

I just helped my buddy plan their bachelor trip for Auburn where they stayed in NOLA then came up for the game and I can share with you what I told them and feedback.

I'll update when I'm back at my computer but I'll tell you right now, Shaq/DJ Diesel is $120 per person and although it's fun it will be a very long night and you'll have a very long Saturday if you stay up to see him play.
