My wife manages teachers and is sick and tired of it. I tell her all the time that she and a few of her teacher friends need to quit and start a daycare because that’s where the real money is at!

I doubt it. Between the fees, licensing, insurance, I bet there isn't much profit in it.

I remember when I was annoyed with Daycare expense if $2,500/mo for 2, partially subsidized by my wife’s employer, and I couldn’t wait to get that cash flow back. That money soon became $3k for a nanny. Then that became $3k for private school and their after school program.
Add it all up, summer camps, daycares, nanny, schools — it is $750k to $1M for 2 kids just to get them to college.
