That Chattanooga I-24 traffic jam is at least 45 years old. I was cussing the traffic through there in the ‘ 70’s.

When driving to/from Nashville and ATL, Chattanooga traffic is actually somehow worse than Atlanta's, which is a feat within itself. They really need a loop that goes around downtown, but the topography probably would make that challenging.

Yeah its bad, real bad going west. Whenever have to go through Chattanooga, I almost always detour off the interstate and get back on near downtown.

I’m sitting dead stop on 24 right now west of Chattanooga. This is unreal.
