Sounds like you’re not mad at the fact that she wasn’t on time, but that she cancelled all together.

Completely different things to be angry at. You’re DEFINITELY allowed to be fricking pissed at your lazy arse fiancés friend. frick her dumb arse… and I hope that the dinner was with a rich dude because this bitch is angling for a sugar daddy, not a job.

If it was just drinks with friends etc, cut her out of your life and persuade your fiancé to do the same.

You can only help people so far and it should ABSOLUTELY not precipitate a rant on a forum about it… she’s not worth your, our our time.

In this specific instance, yes. But it made me think about all my other peers where it's constantly a struggle to plan things and have them be on time for them. I can see the look on their faces when we make plans, especially when it is something time sensitive (like a ticket to an event), and I can just see their eyes glaze over with "oh man I actually have to be somewhere at a specific time, maybe even before noon?". And these are working professionals.

And not even just the timeliness, the ability to commit to anything. It always seems like they never want to go all in because god forbid something slightly more enticing comes along at the same time they'd rather do. Just feels like it's a constant with both my peer group and my fiancé's. I notice it too with my brother/his friends. That's what makes me generalize and think this is an issue with my "generation".
