You should read the source material for that article. If you did, you’d be embarrassed that you posted that.

I guess you didn’t actually read it. It was an illogical smear piece.
My favorite was them saying that they felt that it was unfair that electric vehicles were basically exempt from emission standards and just pretended, with little pretext as to why, that it was essentially a ICE vehicle getting 15 mpg.
Never mind the regulations would charge the manufacturer for producing that vehicle, they just decided to apply that penalty to every gallon gif gas burned. 6 dollars of that 17 comes from that.
Almost all of the rest is based on subsidies and tax breaks, but they but zero corrective actions to normalize it against gas, as if the oil industry doesn’t get the same.
