Nobody was "run off" in this situation, nor was that any argument used in why Cook should be eligible for us on the waiver.

Cook transferred because he was behind Gaines on playing time and both were freshman. It was a logical move on Cook's part.

They were recruiting, and pulled, multiple guards out of the transfer portal at or around that same time. Pinson & Adam Miller.

Gaines wasn’t really an issue.

Jalen cook has proved to be better than all of these players.
