So we'll see you on the money board looking for advice on how to finance college soon?

The thing that irks me about neighborhood largesse (Halloween, Christmas parties, etc.) is like being on an airplane. If there is a depressurization, you put your mask on first, then help others around you.

There is a constant cycle of OT'ers that complain about money, but continue to blow money on other people, and not saving in a 529, but going to 30A, buying $300 worth of candy for randos. My ex FIL didn't have shoes for years as a kid. I'm clearly a product of a depression era family, which is an over correction, but damn. You people are nuts.

$300 in candy must mean you are giving out regular sized candy bars.

Some of us aren't poor and it isn't a big deal to go all out for the kiddos one day a year. And we still have retirement savings. Shocker, I know.

or maybe spome of us aint poor AF like you apparently are.

Saving for college for many of us...college is cheap compared to private school. LSU is less than 12k per year.......like i said same or cheaper than private school even before scholarships.

you sound poor AF if you cant afford candy for kids on holloween.
