I love how the OP tells everyone to get a grip and seek help yet he explains how bummed he was when Jimi Hendrix died. Yeah you don't sound like a hypocrite at all here.
Not sure what makes you the thoughts and feeling police either. Let people grieve how they want to grieve to make themselves feel better. What makes you the Lord Almighty when it comes to this?
Also there's a few celebrity deaths that bummed me out big time and not afraid to say it. Chester Bennington is one. Ever since middle school I didn't go one day without listening to several songs from him and Linkin Park. Their music got me through some of the roughest moments of my life. Him taking his life shows how immortal we all are. Same with Chris Cornell.
Alex Trebek is another. I wasn't the biggest Jeopardy fan, but my parent's loved it. Almost every day my parents, 3 siblings, and I would watch it at 6:00. Just sit, watch, and relax. Reminded me of the simple times hanging with my family so him dying to me sucked.
Kobe is another one. Basketball was my favorite sport up until high school, and even though I hated the Lakers, I loved the way he played and worked. It inspires me to work just as hard he does with anything in life.
