My brother has one of these, and I have to say it's a cool little rifle, but I was disappointed with the accuracy of it. It's hard to beat a Marlin model 60 for general.22 stuff. I have one of the remmington model 77s, which is cool, because it uses the box mags, but it's not nearly as accurate as the Marlin.
Hoping CZ will do a .22mag version

The most accurate 22LR I own, by far, is a Marlin 39A.

ALL .22's are ammo-dependent when it comes to accuracy. CCI Mini-Mags (40 grain) shot tightest groups in mine, with one of the Aguila loads and the CCI "Tactical" tying for 2nd best. (But the cheap (36 grain) Wal-Mart ammo is plenty accurate for any plinking.)
After you find what the gun "likes," buy a metric load of it. But keep your test target so you'll have a reminder of 2nd best and 3rd best.
These rifles are plenty accurate. And they are perfect for kids because the stock is adjustable like any AR.
