!! I am not the owner !! I really just want to spread the word because people need to know about Croissant and I haven't seen any talk of them on TD.

This place is the real deal when it comes to anything baked. Apple turnover is possibly 15 super thin layers of pastry wrapped around an awesome apple filling. They usually have no less than 15 fresh baked options daily and specials mixed in. Their FB page has some great pics..

Now I’m even less convinced you’re not involved with that pizza place.

Guess every time you eat some where in Mandeville with decent food we will get a rave review post! looking forward to seeing what you're having for lunch!

Welcome to TD I guess. I can't imagine being so miserable in life that someone posting reviews of restaurants on a food board would be met with such derision and ridicule. Some of the replies in this thread are outright embarrassing.

Friend,

Thank you for the review and recommendation! For most of my life, a fear of bridges prevented me from traveling to the Northshore, but on a trip to California three years ago this month, Mother experimented with exposure therapy. Bridges still are not my friends, but I will not allow them to prevent me from exploring.

There was a dramatic shift in the atmosphere of TD in January of 2021, and since that time, a fume of umbrage and outright hostility has permeated almost every board, even the Food Board. It seems, that for now, the Travel Board, is safe. Those who care about this board welcome and thank you for your words and suggestions.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

I tried them when they opened, quite expensive, I had a much better croissant at Zoe's and in addition it was 50% bigger for about the same price.

This place is decent, but severely overpriced. It was almost $20 for a baguette and 2 croissants.

My daughter (no pics) is friends with the owner's daughter (still no pics). They dropped off an assortment of pastries, and damn they were good. I am not even into pastries, and I ate a few. They are from France, and returned from living over there for a few years. I would highly recommend!

Good to know, and thanks for the review. I’ll check it out next time I’m in the area along with the Pizza Place. We have some family going to the English Tea Room for a holiday event soon so it should make for a nice day.
