Any OT'ers go to the Zydeco Ice Hockey game last night?

Hockey was a big thing when I lived in Pittsburgh. Apparently they have a very good team.

I went, it was a fun enough time. The PA announcer blew, trying to be too funny and his cadence was awful. They also need to play music more because there was times where it was just quiet. It's like the people running it never been to a sporting event.
I think they also did a pretty bad job at marketing the kickoff to the season. I remember during the exhibition games there were several news articles talking about and building hype. I have season tickets and didn't even realize the season was starting yesterday until last week.

It wasn’t bad. New video screen looked great. They need to do more crowd interaction with it during timeouts and between periods. Music and PA announcer could have been better. Jerseys actually looked cool.
Team is garbage. By the end of the 2nd period, they had only 8 shots on the opponent’s goal. However, they had 2 goals on those 8 shots. Couldn’t pass to save their lives. If they can improve that, they’ll be able to turn around their offensive issues. Defense wasn’t terrible. They gave up 6 goals, but that was off of like 60 shots because Columbus was on their end of the ice the entire game

What does Baton Rouge have that would be iconic enough for a name? Call them the bridge or the red sticks? Which no one would have any clue what the red sticks are.

Yea defense was pretty bad but they can't put the lost on the goalie. That dude made some awesome saves. Guess when you get shot at 60 times.... 6 might get through.

Baton Rouge Traffic would have been an awesome name. Then the bridge would have been a perfect logo.
