It needs to be a rectangular configuration instead of the oval configuration to get the seats close to the court. They don't build oval areans anymore for a reason. 12,000 seats, rectangular. Auburn's arena is too small but compare the atmosphere there with the seats right on top of the court to the PMAC.

Alabama has a nice design like you're talking about. Think it's budget is $250m

This.

Plus the rows are too close together, im not even 6 foot and my knees are always jammed up against the seat in front of me.

Also, the tight concourse really blow during halftime.
