I'm not backing out. That was never the plan. All I was doing was asking since I have never been there. I told her she was overreacting but figured I'd ask.

Dude. While some here may have seen only a few, I saw hundreds at Duck key. All sizes too. If lizards are a deal breaker, you may want to go to Colorado.

I’ve been down there 3 times in last two years. Key West twice, Islamorada once. First Key West trip was in April and we saw quite a few but I’d compare them to squirrels in your yard. The next trip in Islamorada we saw 1 the whole time. That was in August. The last was Key West in December and there were significantly less. The chickens in Key West are WAY more prevalent.
