He is so close to being unstoppable.

That extra 20 lbs causes hit shot to get blocked me than it should.

He'll get there. He usually start slow out of the gates. It's going to take 15-20 games before the monster MVP Zion wakes up.

I think the extra 20 pounds protects him from injury in the paint too. He was hammered a lot inside but wasn’t fazed. I remember Shaq saying how sometimes having that extra muscle can be important playing inside.

Not saying you’re wrong, but he was blowing by his primary defender very easily in the 1st quarter. That guy wasn’t blocking his shot. It was always the help defender, who happens to be the defensive player of the year and best shot blocker in the NBA. No other team has that. With that being said, Zion could still lose a few pounds, but his quickness and lift are not at all a problem for him.
