Actually a very complicated question. I’m taking 2019. But, this is not simple. Miles getting two in a year on Saban with their comparative models might have put LSU even better set going forward. The Bama dynasty gets sliced. Miles does not get fired when he did if he has two ships. So many moving parts

I'd take 2011 bc of the above, and it would've also been the greatest of all time season. Alabama getting a mulligan was a great crime against CFB, utter BS.

We would have been the first true national champion.

We should have played big 12 champion okie state.
In that universe we beat the pac 12 champion ( who beat the big 10 champ in the rose bowl) big 12 champ and big east champ (who beat the ACC champ like a drum in the orange bowl)

Instead we end up with more wins than bama (13-1 vs 12-1) and 1-1 vs them yet they get all the glory.

It is what it is.

The chain reaction though is interesting to think about.

I still think the Okie St FG was good.

2019 was the greatest of all time season.

Half of LSUs opponents in 2019 were top 10 opponents and LSU wiped the floor with most of them and went 15-0. Many don’t realize LSU won 7 games that year against the top 10. It would never be matched again if not for the expanded playoffs beginning.
