The message from LSU coach Brian Kelly to Delane during his weekend visit was that the Tigers need safeties and that he’s a “top priority” in the 2025 class. The Olney (Md.) Good Counsel standout had such a good time over the weekend in Baton Rouge that he’s returning for the Florida game in a couple weeks as Delane also likes position coach Kerry Cooks very much. Ohio State, Tennessee and Maryland are the others to watch, and Delane also wants to visit Colorado soon, too.
Anybody have intel on this guy? He seems very interested in the P & G...

Billy and Shea talked about him on their latest podcast. He seems to have interest but he's also taking a bunch of other visits as well. Certainly seems like one to monitor.

Hard to rely on guys from that region of the country. Alabama has had a lot of recruiting successes over there but LSU hasn't ever had the same reach.

So he visited for the Army game, had a great trip and is returning 3 weeks later for another visit. And he has a brother at Va Tech that’s a sophomore 2 year starter at CB. Really intriguing recruitment.

Feel like that region is weird for us. I think Penn and Womack are from there but we had that 5 star receiver rakim Jarrett decommit on us and went to Maryland

I don't recall ever getting anyone from there prior to the last 5-7 yrs but now it seems like we're in on a couple of guys a year. Can't recall which coach had those regional connections. The Rakim Jarrett flip as well as the close finish on Caleb Williams and Tristan Leigh leave a sour taste in people's mouths but, as you said, we have landed a few as well.
