Thanks all.
Unfortunately, this is what I've come to learn:
I'd rather the cabin roominess of a wide body, but they don't seem like viable options from DC.
Icelandair is much cheaper ($300 each x 4) than Aer Lingus if I want to use Chase Ultimate Rewards points or book through Chase.
Booking direct with Aer Lingus is less expensive, but would be all cash vs using points.

Whether it’s 3x3 or 3x3x3, you’re gonna get the same 30” seat and narrow aisle in economy.

You can't transfer your chase points to Aer Lingus?
