I know TH usually only gets a couple of yards when he runs but he makes the other Defenses piss their pants. They are all young adults out their who when they see him walk on the field they put 90% of their attention toward TH. (they truely dont like guys who run a lot faster). Opponents change their defensive alignment to contain him because they know if he gets some breathing room he is gone. So, i am venting that he should be involved and play more, in giving the team greater opportunities. When TH is in ...(1)TH has a greater chance of breaking one to the house than any other player. (2) He opens up new running and throwing lanes for other players (3) He causes the opponents defense mass confusion and loss of concentration.

Should we play him more???

I think we should give him screens and backfield passes while Tolliver and Lafell go deep with a slot guy or Dickson going up the middle, big yards.

I think he needs to be in the game and not get the ball sometimes. Everytime he gets in the game he gets the ball and the Defense knows it.

I agree. If nothing else just use him as a decoy. It worked great last year but that was last year. Don't forget that they only play with one pigskin so someone will always need more touches.

I think he is way overrated as an offensive player or he is used entirely in the wrong way. It's probably a combo of both. Need proof?

How many touchdowns has Trindon scored on offense in his LSU career?

How many long yardage (35+ yards) touchdowns has Trindon scored on offense in his LSU career?

How many long yardage (35+ yards) plays has Trindon been involved with on offense in his LSU career?

I don't know the exact numbers but I would say it is not very many to all of those questions. I am thinking right at or around a handful or less to all of them.

One more question:

How many no gain or negative yardage plays has Trindon been involved with on offense in his LSU career?

Tiger Vision the reason he doesn't have hardly any of what you just asked is because he never touches the ball. There are games that he never touches it and most games he may touch it once or twice. Kind've hard to say the guy is overrated when he doesn't get the opportunity to show what he can do. Last week he took a hand off out of the shot gun and got a good block and got a 39 yard gain on it. The problem is he is not invovled at all in the game plan and they just throw him a bone or two a game and hope he busts one. I would use him like Florida uses Percy Harvin. I feel bad for Trindon because he is wasted so much. If I was calling the plays he would touch the ball a minimum of 15 times a game. The guy can score from any spot on the field. Florida has 5 guys that are as fast or close to as fast as Trindon is and all of them get their touches in Gator Nation, why? Difference of coaching philosphy and strategy. Seems to work for Florida though considering that they have had the best offense in the SEC the last 3 years running but thats just my opinion. The coaching staff at Florida thinks outside the box, our staff on the other hand does not.

In agreement with you. As a receiver he will always have double coverage. His talent is not with speed only but has gritty toughness that hasn't been tapped.

I agree. Having TH in the game whether we use him as a decoy similar to what the Saint's use Reggie Bush is huge in the mental dept. I do not think TH is overrated and just a track star. I feel exactly how one poster pointed out. TH has become a wasted talent for us because we do not know how to use him. I don't know why either. All you have to do is put him in certain types of situations and he can be successful. Don't just put him in to carry the ball. Use him as a decoy when he is in the game in certain situations. For instance, you could fake the pitch to TH and have JJ either throw the ball down the field or run it himself. Also, I see a lot of busted protection when TH is in the game. It seems the offense just doesn't block for him at times so he takes a loss. All the young guy needs is a seam and it will be a huge gain. Imagine what would happen if TH was to get a block similar to what CS usually gets when he gets a big gain and is later taken down. He will go for 6 baby!

TH should definitely get the ball more, this is LSU.We don't use just one running back,no matter how good of a year he is having.KW needs the rock too, dude is fast, strong and just a freak.Miles is hurting his confidence by keeping him on the sidelines because of fumble issues.

Why not a wild-tiger formation with Holiday and Williams?or with Shep next year

If he could be tougher like Jaquizz Rogers or Jeff Demps, then he would be much more effective. Since he falls down everytime someone sneezes on him, he will never be a consistently effective weapon.
